OLIVIA FERN is an emerging photographer and artisan--founder of GAEA PHOTOGRAPHY and AYA IMPRESSION, respectively. Both independent ventures are considerably inspired by her curiosity, wanderlust, enthusiasm for adventurous learning, and appreciation for nature, cultures, style, as well as strange and beautiful things.
GAEA PHOTOGRAPHY features compositions of natural, cultural, inanimate beauty, and other interests. GAEA, in Greek mythology, is the Goddess of the Earth, or Mother Earth. The current photo collection includes remarkable images from around her Caribbean twin-island state - Trinidad & Tobago - and also Venezuela, Guyana, Jamaica, Ireland, and Peru.
AYA IMPRESSION, Olivia's current other undertaking, evolved from her penchant for design and creation. The ancient African Adinkra symbol AYA, 'the fern', represents independence, resourcefulness, endurance, perseverance, fearlessness, and defiance. AYA IMPRESSION is currently a capricious collection of handmade creations with Olivia's personal application of the Aya symbolism to Life and Style.
